In a caring industry, the care is lost.
Most professionals such as counselling, teaching, big corporations, PCT’s or NHS trusts have formal mandatory debriefing requirements for managers or anyone with their own caseload to have professional supervision sessions.
These discussions may include strategies that focus on method planning etc. But essentially also include safeguards against personal stresses.
Hands up!
How many of us/you have felt like a circus performer juggling your to-do list as it grows ever longer?
It is time to recognise, that we all need a ‘time out’ – a figurative if not literal 5 minutes to catch our breath, scream at the walls and take stock of what and where we are at.
I OF THE STORM wants to facilitate this by working as an ‘expert’ by experience’ within an ethical and professional framework.
By providing a safe space and using a range of skills such as active listening, observation, impartiality and conversation to highlight good practice, to focus, encourage and engage with the manager to look at available tools for each.
I AM HERE FOR YOU, AS NOT ACTING AND OFFERING SUPPORT CAN LEAD TO
• Poor Self Esteem
• Loss of Confidence
• Self-Doubt
• Insomnia
• Ratings & Client Losses
